Change of address

It’s important to let us know if you’ve changed address, otherwise you could miss out on regular statements and important information about your policy.

If you’re registered for our online services you can login and update your address at any time.

You can complete the form, print and sign it, then post it to us. For joint policies, all policyholders need to sign the form.

You can call us.
We’ll send a letter to your new address to confirm we’ve made the change.

Change of name

If you’ve changed your name for any reason, please let us know. You can complete the form, print and sign it, then post it to us.

Unfortunately it’s not possible to change your name using our online services or over the phone. You’ll also need to send us one of the following official documents before we can make the change:

  • A Marriage or Civil Partnership certificate showing a link between the name we hold on our records and your current name.
  • A Divorce Decree together with your Birth Certificate, if divorced and returning to your maiden name
  • A Deed Poll document for any other reason, which must show a link between the name we hold on our records and your current name.

Please note that we will only accept the original or an original certified copy of any document you provide and it must be sent by post. If you choose to send the original documents please do so via registered or recorded delivery and we will return them to you in the same way. If sending certified copies please see below for acceptable criteria:

  • The full name, address and the position/status of the person certifying the documentation must be included
  • Dated and signed by the person certifying the documentation
  • All documentation and certification details MUST be clear and legible
  • For UK nationals: The documentation must be certified by a UK solicitor; UK employee of a bank or other regulated financial institution; Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regulated financial advisor or broker and any of the Intermediary’s employees; Certified or Chartered Accountant; an embassy, consulate or high commission official of the country of issue
  • For NON UK nationals: The documentation must be certified by a Financial Conduct Authority regulated financial advisor or broker and any of the Intermediary’s employees; UK employee of a bank or other regulated financial institution; a Solicitor, Lawyer or Attorney of either the UK or the country of issue; or an embassy, consulate or high commission official of the country of issue
  • The person submitting the documentation CANNOT certify their own documents, even if they fall into one of the categories above
