Every pension comes with fees and charges. These cover the cost of setting up and managing your pension.
How much it costs to transfer
We won’t charge you for transferring your pensions to us. Speak to your current providers to find out if they’ll charge you to transfer your existing pensions.
How to find out about your other pension charges
You may be able to see how much you’re being charged in your other pensions’ policy documents.
It’s also worth checking how your pensions are invested, as this will affect how much you pay in charges.
You may need to speak to your providers to get this information.
Why it’s worth checking
Checking these details will help you compare your pension charges. Then you can decide if a transfer will save you money.

We’ll talk to your other providers and ask them to transfer your pensions to us. We’ll keep in touch while this is happening to let you know how it’s going.
If your other provider uses the same transfer service as us, we’ll complete your transfer as quickly as possible. This can take about six weeks.
If not, we’ll be in touch as we will need a further letter of authority to contact your previous providers to initiate the process. This process can take longer.
