Find out about transfers

Before you ask us to transfer, you’ll need to find out if you can combine pensions with us and decide if it’s right for you. Let us guide you through the basics.

  • Can we check something?

There are some pensions which you can’t transfer to us online. This includes where your pension:

    • Is a final salary pension (also known as a defined benefit pension).
    • Is affected by a pension sharing order or pension earmarking order.

You also can’t transfer online if you’re:

    • Taking an income from any pensions you’re transferring. Or you’ve taken a tax-free lump sum from these.
    • Moving a pension that’s not with a UK provider.

If any of these apply to your pension, call us to talk about your options.
